ReviewYourChoices.com has a couple really cool concepts working for them in one neat little website. They took one of the most popular recreational sports on the web: sounding off in forums and blogs and made it possible for them to make money doing what they enjoy: giving an opinion.
When the site first went online, ReviewYourChoices.com aimed simply to make it a lot easier to research reviews for products and services. A computer no nothing could stumble upon a site with a forum reviewing something. The problem is that it takes time we don’t have to sit and read these different sources. Hours down and eye fatigue is often all we have to show for it.
Basically Review Your Choices works to put it all together in one site. The site is primarily about making it easy for people to find out about something they are buying without wasting too much time. The value it provides is simply being able to see reviews without a huge time investment.
The site definitely succeeds in making it easy for the user. It is built with a logical set of categories and a living growing highly specific sub category list. The web masters smartly leave the users free to determine what categories are necessary based on what the reviewers want to write about.
That alone would make Review Your Choices worth the fast track to your favorites list. But there is way way more beyond that.
Nothing to be gained from hiding it. I am a hard core sports fan who uses internet forums to share my opinions and show off what I think know with others like me.
One of my favorite forums is in the Detroit Free Press Newspaper. The way the Freep does it is genious. They allow posting after every article in the paper. As a reader, I am able to leave an opinion and get responses from other readers. It is definitely addicting.
After a tough game involving one of my favorite teams, the paper will have an article posted almost immediately. The fans jump on and start talking about the game. Every person has their own unique outlook on what they saw, and almost always some plan to make the team better. On many evenings you’ll have 400 posts or more in less than an hour. What is happening here is the creation of a large community sharing all at once.
Bottom line for me is that it is a lot of fun. Amidst all the red hot opinions, something is hard to miss. It’s this: The person with the freshest, funnest take that says something of importance and value, draws the most viewers and gets the most responses.
What is happening is a mini version of what Google is trying to make the internet into. Basically, Google wants to send it’s users to the best most relevant content on the web and away from the junk. Google envisions an internet that becomes more open and useful to everyone in the future.
ReviewYourChoices.com appears to be taking that direction to heart. The site is structured to give anyone with a valuable opinion on a product, service, cause, entertainment or travel experience, or whatever, a platform to share easily and makes it possible to earn money by sharing.
For the honor of your review, the folks at Review Your Choices put their time, talent and money behind the goal of bringing traffic from all over the world to see what you have written. Generally, the principle behind this is that a review is valuable information and the giver of that information is entitled to get a piece of the money pie online.
It is a philosophy of doing business on the internet that has been huge for Google and countless others who have made vast fortunes on the internet.
Review Your Choices wants to be the go to storehouse for people who are looking to streamline the research process of research. What really adds sizzle is the concept of paying a person for their opinions.
The user also keeps the ability to promote himself and his individual product or service.
Sounding off on things that we care about, or are familiar with, is something we all love to do anyways. Reviewyourchoices.com wondered why not get all the benefits that can be imagined for those who bring the value? Sign up is easy, come and go as you wish and post when the mood hits you.
Folks looking for quality reviews on anything can find it here, or if you want to share what you know for the betterment of others, this is a great site.
